✨ About the Role:
Join NORCAP and the African Union to strengthen constitutional governance and the rule of law across Africa! This one-year position supports inclusive, rights-based systems that promote peace and democracy.

🧑‍💼 Responsibilities:

• Support AU constitutional assistance programs in member states
• Integrate rule of law principles across AU initiatives
• Contribute to the Early Warning Response Mechanism
• Assist in drafting AU guidelines on constitutional amendments
• Conduct capacity-building sessions for stakeholders
• Support implementation of the African Charter on Democracy, Elections & Governance

🎓 Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Law, Political Science, International Studies, or related fields (or Bachelor’s + 7 yrs experience)
• 5+ years relevant experience in governance or constitutional reform
• Familiarity with AU mechanisms and governance frameworks
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
