Job Summary
The Driver will provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for staff, goods, and documents, supporting project implementation and organizational operations. The role includes vehicle maintenance, logistical support, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned vehicles for transporting staff, goods, and documents.
  • Plan optimal travel routes with attention to safety, fuel efficiency, and timely arrival.
  • Maintain vehicle condition through inspections, servicing, and refueling.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Provide logistical support for field events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Ensure passenger and vehicle safety and report incidents promptly.
  • Perform ad-hoc transport and logistical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school completion (Grade 10 or 12).
  • Valid 3rd level or Public-1 driving license with defensive driving certification.
  • 4–6 years of full-time driving experience; NGO sector experience is a plus.
  • Safe and defensive driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
  • Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork orientation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain accurate records using ERP systems.
