Safaricom Ethiopia, one of the leading telecom operators in the country, is offering an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to join its Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) Program. This program is designed to develop future leaders who will drive innovation, excellence, and growth within the organization.

Position: Graduate Management Trainee Program

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or above.
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months from the date of application.
• Only 2024 First Degree Graduates from Government Universities are eligible to apply.

Selection Process

Safaricom Ethiopia follows a merit-based and transparent recruitment process designed to ensure fairness and equal opportunity.

1. Independent Online Assessment
   • The initial screening and assessment are conducted independently.
   • Safaricom Ethiopia does not influence or participate in this stage to ensure impartiality.
2. Applicant Accountability
   • Applicants are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
   • False or misleading information may lead to disqualification at any stage.
3. Comprehensive Evaluation
   • Shortlisted candidates will undergo multiple assessment stages based on Safaricom Ethiopia’s competencies and values.
   • Only candidates showing strong potential will progress.
4. Competency-Based Selection
   • Final selection will be based on demonstrated alignment with Safaricom Ethiopia’s core competencies, values, and leadership potential.
5. Final Selection & Employment
   • Successful candidates will be offered a two-year fixed-term Graduate Management Trainee contract.
   • Upon successful completion of the program, trainees may be offered permanent positions within Safaricom Ethiopia, depending on performance and available vacancies.
