Job Description and Strategic Impact
The Program Coordinator role is a critical position that bridges operational excellence with technical implementation. As a coordinator, you will oversee day-to-day operations and programmatic support at the area level, ensuring that health interventions—specifically in Family Planning (FP), Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC), and maternal health—are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with donor requirements and national standards. Your leadership will ensure that our field teams remain equipped, supported, and motivated to deliver life-saving services.
The Driver Mechanic and Liaising Assistant role serves as the backbone of our field operations. This role is essential for maintaining the mobility of our teams and the safety of our vehicle fleet, while also providing vital support in logistics and government liaison activities. By ensuring that our vehicles are roadworthy and our administrative errands are executed promptly, you enable our clinical teams to reach the most remote areas of the country, directly contributing to our organizational goal of expanding service reach.
Joining MSIE means stepping into a role that demands both tactical agility and a commitment to our organizational mission. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your ability to solve operational bottlenecks and manage resources directly influences our clinical throughput. Whether you are coordinating complex logistical requirements or ensuring the highest standard of fleet maintenance, your work is a fundamental component of the care we provide.
These positions offer significant opportunities for career growth. Program Coordinators will gain deep insight into donor-funded program management, RMNCH technical leadership, and organizational administration. Meanwhile, our transport and liaison professionals benefit from being part of an essential support network that is highly valued for its contribution to service continuity. We invest in our people through training, mentorship, and a clear path toward greater responsibility within the organization.
We are seeking individuals who are ready to dedicate their skills to an impactful mission. If you are passionate about professional excellence and want to be part of a team that is making a significant contribution to reproductive healthcare in Ethiopia, we invite you to explore these opportunities. We offer a supportive, high-performance work environment where your achievements are recognized and your potential is fully realized.
