Job Description and Strategic Impact

The digital, administrative, and risk management roles currently vacant at Nib International Bank are central to the bank’s mission of secure, technology-driven growth. Digital Sales and Product Development Officers are the architects of the bank’s virtual presence, responsible for expanding the reach of NIB’s mobile and internet platforms. These roles ensure that digital products are not only functional but also competitive, providing the convenience that modern customers demand. Their impact is seen in the increasing volume of digital transactions and the expansion of the bank’s market share in the fintech space.

On the technical and oversight side, IT Risk and Enterprise Risk Management Officers serve as the bank’s primary defense against operational and digital threats. They ensure that as the bank innovates, it remains compliant with international standards and internal security protocols. The strategic impact of these roles is the maintenance of customer trust and institutional stability. Furthermore, roles like the ESG Compliance Officer highlight the bank’s commitment to sustainable development, ensuring that financial activities align with environmental and social responsibilities. Even essential support roles, such as the Gardener or Data Center Administrator, ensure the physical and technical foundations of the bank are maintained to the highest standards.

Career development in these departments is robust, offering professionals the chance to lead digital transformation projects and develop sophisticated risk-mitigation frameworks. Whether working at the Head Office in Addis Ababa or supporting regional districts, employees are tasked with high-level problem solving and strategic planning. The exposure to legal, financial, and technological domains makes these positions a foundation for leadership within the broader international banking community.

Ultimately, every role—from the Principal Digital Sales Officer to the Attorney at the district level—contributes to a seamless banking experience.
