Job Description

The Junior Health, Environment and Occupational Safety Officer will support the corporation’s efforts to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, occupational health, and workplace safety standards.

The role involves assisting in the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across both head office and project sites.

Officers will monitor workplace safety practices, identify potential hazards, and support corrective actions to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

The role also includes conducting inspections, documenting safety compliance, and contributing to risk assessment reports for ongoing projects.

Officers will participate in safety training, awareness campaigns, and coordination with project teams to ensure HSE standards are understood and implemented.

The position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in occupational health, safety management, and environmental compliance in Ethiopia’s construction sector.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • No prior work experience is required. This role is designed specifically for graduates from the 2016 and 2017 Ethiopian academic calendar.
