Job Description
The Human Resources Assistant will support recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR service delivery functions within the Commission.
The role focuses on coordinating recruitment processes, maintaining personnel records, and supporting HR operations in line with institutional policies.
The HR Assistant will contribute to ensuring that EHRC attracts and retains qualified professionals who advance the organization’s human rights mandate.
This position provides exposure to HR systems, including Human Capital Management Information Systems (HCMIS), and offers opportunities for professional development in modern HR practices.
Educational Qualification
• BA Degree or Level IV Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related fields
Work Experience
• 2 years of relevant experience with a BA degree
• 4 years of relevant experience with a diploma
• Knowledge of HCMIS systems is an advantage
Required Skills and Competencies
• Computer literacy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of Amharic is required
• Knowledge of additional local languages is advantageous
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Ability to work in a structured and confidential environment
