Job Description:
As a Junior Underwriting or Claims Officer, you will play a critical role in assessing, managing, and processing insurance policies and claims. You will assist senior officers in evaluating risk, verifying documentation, and ensuring accurate claim settlements. This role contributes directly to the company’s operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and financial stability. The position provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in insurance underwriting, claims management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
- GPA of 2.5 and above.
- Applicants must provide 8th, 10th, and 12th-grade national exam results.
- Must be a 2022–2024 graduate.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year proven post-qualification experience in any position. Experience in insurance or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to office and insurance work.
