Job Description
The Supply Chain and Logistics Assistant will support the effective implementation of procurement and logistics activities across the program. This role ensures that all procurement, warehouse, and fleet coordination activities are carried out in full compliance with Oxfam policies, donor regulations, and government requirements. The position reports to the Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator and works closely with programme, finance, warehouse, and fleet teams.

This role focuses primarily on procurement management while maintaining proper segregation of duties. The post holder will coordinate suppliers, contracts, documentation, compliance, and communication to ensure transparent and efficient supply chain operations. By ensuring timely and ethical procurement, this role directly supports programme delivery and improves services to communities.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field from a recognized university or college. Additional professional training in procurement, logistics systems, or donor compliance will be considered an advantage.

Work Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably within an international NGO or humanitarian organization. Experience working with donor-funded projects is an added advantage.

Experience using supply chain management systems or procurement software.
Strong data management, documentation, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
