Job Description
The Logistic Assistant will work as part of the logistics team to support supply chain, warehouse, asset, fleet, and administrative operations. This role ensures that all logistics activities are aligned with Oxfam policies and donor requirements, contributing directly to the success of humanitarian and development programs. The position is based in Locuk Dong and reports to the Camp Focal Person, with matrix management from the Senior Logistics Officer in Gambela. The Logistic Assistant will coordinate closely with field teams and the Gambela office to ensure timely procurement and delivery of supplies. You will maintain accurate records, manage warehouse operations, and ensure accountability and transparency in all logistics processes. The role also includes asset tracking, fleet monitoring, vehicle documentation, and office administration support. By ensuring that essential goods and services reach communities efficiently, this role plays a critical part in improving lives and supporting emergency response. The position offers valuable exposure to international NGO systems and provides strong opportunities for professional growth and career development.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Supply and Logistics Management or a related field from a recognized university or college. Additional training in logistics systems, fleet management, or supply chain software is an advantage and will support career progression.

Work Experience
Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply and logistics management. Experience working with an international NGO is highly desirable. Previous exposure to humanitarian or development operations will be considered a strong advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong coordination, communication, and networking skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines is required. Experience with logistics management systems and fleet tracking software such as TrackPoint and GPS is highly valued. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong data management and reporting skills. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in diverse environments are critical.
