Job Overview
Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a highly qualified Inclusive Systems Coordinator to support the implementation of the Hope, Empowerment and Resilience (HER) Project in Ethiopia. The role provides strategic and technical leadership to ensure inclusive, gender-responsive, and systems-based programming in fragile and displacement-affected contexts.

Job Purpose
The Inclusive Systems Coordinator plays a core technical role within the Consortium Management Unit, leading the integration of inclusive systems thinking across the HER Project. The position ensures interventions strengthen local economic, social, and institutional systems—particularly those impacting women and girls—while remaining responsive to humanitarian needs and protection risks.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on inclusive systems design, implementation, and quality assurance
Guide systems analysis including market systems, institutional mapping, and political economy analysis
Support integrated, layered interventions linking immediate assistance with long-term recovery
Lead inclusive economic recovery and women’s economic empowerment strategies
Promote cross-sector integration across protection, health, nutrition, social cohesion, and peacebuilding
Support adaptive management, learning, and complexity-aware MEAL approaches
Build capacity of consortium partners and country teams on systems thinking and facilitation
Contribute to strategic decision-making, risk analysis, and governance within the consortium

Experience and Technical Requirements
7–10 years of progressive experience in inclusive systems, economic recovery, or related fields
Proven experience applying systems approaches in fragile or displacement-affected contexts
Strong understanding of the Humanitarian–Development–Peace nexus
Experience working with local partners, private sector actors, and public institutions
Prior experience in East Africa or the Horn of Africa is a strong advantage

Education
Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Management, or a related field
A Bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience may be considered

Language Requirements
Full professional proficiency in English
Arabic and/or Amharic strongly preferred
