Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Cluster Officers – Project (WCO_P-AO) – I for the implementation of the BRAVE / Mullata Keenya – Our Vision Project.

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Cluster Officer is responsible for coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting project activities in assigned woredas. The role focuses on community-based interventions, capacity building, mentorship, and ensuring quality, client-centered, gender-responsive, and disability-inclusive SRHR services.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement project activities in assigned woredas in line with the approved implementation plan.
• Facilitate formation and capacity building of youth groups, Champions of Change clubs, CSE sessions, peer education networks, and adult support groups.
• Support disability-inclusive interventions in collaboration with EWDNA and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities.
• Conduct community mobilization and awareness activities on SRHR, gender equality, harmful practices, climate resilience, and positive masculinity.
• Collaborate with woreda health offices, schools, women and social affairs offices, and religious institutions.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to health facility staff, HEWs, teachers, and community volunteers.
• Monitor availability of SRHR commodities and advocate for timely replenishment.
• Collect, verify, consolidate, and submit project data and reports on time.
• Support feedback and accountability mechanisms, including child-friendly systems.
• Organize and facilitate review meetings with community and local stakeholders.
• Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, PSHEA, and environmental policies.
• Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community campaigns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• MPH/MSc/BSc degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Management Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience for MPH/MSc holders or 6 years for BSc holders in relevant roles.
• Experience implementing SRHR, gender, youth, or community-based projects in Ethiopia.

Skills and Competencies
• Strong community mobilization and facilitation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of gender-transformative approaches, disability inclusion, and youth participation.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High commitment to child protection, gender equality, and inclusion.
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote kebeles and work under pressure.

Language and Additional Requirements
• Proficiency in Afan Oromo and English; sign language is an asset.
• Familiarity with West Hararge Zone or similar contexts is desirable.
• Motorbike driving license is advantageous.
