Position 1: Cloud Engineer
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Over 3 years of experience in cloud computing, with a solid understanding of cloud system architectures.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and command-line operations.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of storage and server management.
- Familiarity with software version control, integration, and project management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and proactive work attitude.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and deliver results efficiently.
- Knowledge of payment and finance products, and Chinese language skills, are a plus.
Skills & Certifications:
- Demonstrated logical thinking and initiative.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and design effective solutions.
- Experience in technical planning, risk management, and team coordination.
- Industry certifications related to cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are preferred.
Position 2: Mobile Phone Channel Sales & Distribution Network Development Manager
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales and distribution management within the mobile phone/consumer electronics industry; experience in building channels from 0 to 1 in emerging markets is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with distribution business models (design of distribution systems, inventory management, logistics coordination, rebate policies, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose channel issues through sales data and develop actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in English as a working language; fluency in Amharic or Oromo is a strong plus.
- Education Major: Any Major but must have all relevant experience.
Core Competencies:
- Channel Strategy Planning: Ability to design a practical and sustainable channel structure tailored to the Ethiopian market.
- Distributor Development & Management: Skilled in negotiation, onboarding, empowerment, and long-term relationship management.
- Problem-Solving & Execution: Capable of addressing practical challenges such as logistics delays, payment issues, and local compliance.
- Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Adaptable to local business practices, with experience managing and coordinating diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in channel expansion for Chinese mobile phone brands (e.g., Transsion, Xiaomi, OPPO, etc.) in Africa.
- Existing network of distributor resources in Ethiopia within the telecommunications, home appliances, or FMCG sectors.
- Experience in team management, with the ability to lead local teams in executing channel plans.
Position 3: Account Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electric power industry or related ICT industry.
- Basic knowledge of the electric power industry, including understanding of power generation, transmission, transformation, and distribution processes.
- Educational background related to electrical engineering, power systems, or ICT is preferred.
Service Skills & Personal Attributes:
- Cheerful personality with a strong ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Clear thinker with excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proven ability in industry market planning and identifying market opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
Position 4: Industrial Solution Manager
Education and Major Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
Project Experience:
- 5 years or more experience in Solution design and management, product management, IT consulting, or related roles.
Language Skills:
- English is a must; additional language is a plus.
Key Skills and Certificates Required:
- Good understanding of overall industry solutions.
- Understanding of enterprise systems and integrating business processes with technological solutions.
- Certificates on Datacom, storage, cloud, AI, and more is a plus; preferably Huawei certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Other Requirements:
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with customers.
