Job Purpose
• The role is responsible for conducting picture audits
• Reviews and monitors training data as part of program monitoring and evaluation activities

Duties and Responsibilities

Conducting Picture Audits (65%)
• Review all uploaded training and visit photos in PIMA to ensure compliance with standards
• Identify inconsistencies, missing elements, or non-compliant visuals
• Flag unusual or incorrect images and document findings
• Report issues to the Line Manager and MEL Manager
• Prepare brief updates and reports on audit findings
• Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed
• Update program and MEL teams on image quality improvements and accuracy requirements

Monitoring Data (15%)
• Engage with field teams to confirm data accuracy
• Clarify gaps and inconsistencies in submitted data
• Ensure all assigned photos are reviewed, validated, and compliant
• Prepare summaries highlighting key issues, trends, and progress
• Organize, clean, and compile monitoring and evaluation data
• Verify datasets are complete, well-structured, and ready for reporting
• Review picture and data audits in line with TechnoServe SOPs

Other Monitoring and Evaluation Tasks (5%)
• Ensure availability of reports for audited pictures
• Perform other duties assigned by the MEL Manager or Specialist

Field Visit (15%)
• Travel regularly to implementation woredas
• Provide practical feedback to Field Teams based on site observations

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
• Alternatively, a minimum of two years experience in data management and analysis
• Experience using data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Amharic
• Knowledge of Afan Oromo and Afu Sidama is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail

Skills and Competencies
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Basic knowledge of mobile data collection tools such as SurveyCTO and CommCare
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• High level of accuracy and quality control awareness
