Logistics and Supply Chain Officer

Job Summary
Walia Steel Industry is seeking a qualified Logistics and Supply Chain Officer to plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of materials, products, and supplies. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and efficient logistics operations while supporting procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution activities.

Job Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate logistics, transportation, and distribution activities.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams.
Manage local and international shipments, including documentation and customs clearance.
Track deliveries and resolve logistics-related issues.
Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Prepare logistics and inventory reports.

Job Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, or trading companies is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.
Experience with import and export procedures and documentation.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Good communication skills.
