Position Overview

The CP Assistant supports the implementation of child protection policies and programs at the PA and refugee camp. The role ensures alignment with the Harmonized Training Package (HTP) and contributes to strengthening protection mechanisms and community practices against harmful traditional practices and violence toward children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement child protection policies and programs in PA and refugee camp.
  • Support program delivery according to pre-agreed plans and objectives.
  • Collaborate and share reports with other agencies in the area.
  • Support safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Contribute to improved protection mechanisms and community practices.
Qualifications
  • BA degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of humanitarian aid experience in emergency/recovery response operations, with focus on child protection, GBV, or adolescent and youth programs.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection and GBV minimum standards and principles.
  • Understanding of child protection case management and MHPSS.
  • Knowledge of donor grants, contract regulations, and community-based structures.
