Job Summary
China Communication Construction Company is seeking a skilled Foreign Business Assistant to support engineering projects. The role involves cost management, contract coordination, risk assessment, and business compliance, ensuring smooth project operations and effective cross-cultural communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor project cost execution, provide warnings for budget overruns, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare owner settlement reports, manage project settlements, maintain ledgers, and liaise with external parties to expedite processes
• Coordinate with Finance for timely payment processing
• Set team goals, conduct performance reviews, and organize training to enhance team business capabilities
• Identify potential risks in local policies and operations, and develop countermeasures to ensure stable business operations
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian regulations and prepare documents for enterprise entry
• Maintain the company’s brand image and professional reputation locally
• Communicate effectively with local employees and multicultural teams, using Chinese and English
Job Requirements
• College-level education
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Proficient in business management processes for engineering projects, cost analysis, and contract coordination
• Strong work ethic, high integrity, and sense of responsibility
• Familiarity with operating levels, GPS, and other survey instruments; capable of independently undertaking field survey work including preliminary surveys, construction positioning, layout, and as-built surveys
