Job Summary
China Communication Construction Company is seeking an experienced Foreign QA/QC Manager to oversee quality management on major construction projects. The role involves establishing and implementing QA/QC systems, supervising quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and implement the project quality system, including preparation of PQP, ITP, and other quality documentation
• Manage quality control and testing of key construction items such as materials, workmanship, concrete, and rebar
• Review and approve construction, material, and testing reports; ensure completeness before submission to supervision
• Organize and participate in quality inspections with DAR supervision, handle rectifications, and ensure NCR closure
• Conduct pre-acceptance and final quality assessments for sub-projects and unit projects
• Prepare quality weekly/monthly reports and final handover documents
• Establish quality documentation archives to ensure traceability
• Conduct QA/QC team training to improve overall quality management capabilities
Job Requirements
• College-level education
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Experience as a Quality Manager on projects in Ethiopia or Lebanon, preferably airport projects
• Skilled in establishing and implementing quality management systems independently
• DAR work experience preferred
