Purpose of Service:
- Provide high-quality, timely, and accurate diagnostic imaging services to UN staff and eligible beneficiaries
- Contribute to improved clinical outcomes, patient safety, and overall healthcare delivery at UNHCC
Work Location: UNHCC, Addis Ababa
Expected Duration: 9 months
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to UN personnel, their families, and eligible beneficiaries
- Ensure accurate diagnosis to support effective treatment planning and improved patient management
- Maintain the highest standards of medical ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Work collaboratively within a multicultural and multidisciplinary team environment
Qualifications / Special Skills:
- First degree in general medicine with specialization in Radiology
- Current, unrestricted registration with the medical licensing authority of a UN Member State
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Radiology
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and common internet applications
Languages:
- Fluency in oral and written English required
- Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage
