Job Summary
The accountant will support project sites in making key financial decisions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company and government policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
Payment Related: Review and verify payment requests, ensure documentation completeness, prepare checks and vouchers, manage petty cash, and ensure tax compliance.
Payroll: Assist in payroll preparation, review timesheets, and ensure accurate salary deposits.
Recording: Maintain accurate financial ledgers, reconcile accounts, and record all transactions properly.
Advance & Petty Cash: Review settlement documents and maintain timely communication on outstanding advances.
Documentation & Filing: Manage supplier records, organize and label financial documents, and ensure document confidentiality.
Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare monthly financial and cost reports, assist with project budgets, and verify petty cash reports.
Stock Management: Maintain stock cards, record movements, and prepare monthly reconciliations.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
General: Provide financial support to project sites and perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from a recognized university
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance (preferably in construction)
  • Experience with ERP or financial software is a strong advantage
  • Excellent command of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability
